The Group consists of the parent company Zapf Creation AG with its registered location in Rödental (Bavaria) as well as subsidiaries in Germany and abroad. Zapf Creation AG holds directly or indirectly 100 % of the shares in all subsidaries.

The branded play concepts, most notably BABY born®, are sold in over 65 countries throughout the world. The operating business units of Zapf Creation are responsible for local sales and marketing in the world's most important markets.
119 of the 159 employees (31.12.2010) of Zapf Creation Group (excluding the Management Board and trainees) are based in the headquarters in Roedental and the remaining 40 work for the Group's international subsidiaries.

All toys produced by Zapf Creation AG are controlled by accredited test centres to ensure that they conform with all legal standards as well as being examined to ensure that they meet the customer and company's own requirements before being sold on the market.
